The book is good, the Kindle version is not.

Pros:
The questions are high yield for physical diagnosis exams.
The question answer format is great for learning the material.
Cons:
Kindle format makes it difficult to look at questions and answers in rapid succession, making using this book painful.
If I could do it over again I would just buy the paper version of the book. This type of material is better presented as a question bank like Kaplan Qbank or USMLE world. If not a question bank, at least a paper book gives you the ability to mark your answers on the page easily and flip back and forth between the questions and the explanations quickly.

Great prep for NBME Clinical Dx Exam

I really wasn't sure how to prepare the clinical dx exam because it covers such a broad range of topics. This book has great questions similar to those on the test and quickly helped me identify my weaker areas. I took this exam about 3 weeks before my USMLE Step 1 at the end of my second year of medical school, and I thought the topics covered were also helpful for that exam. This was really the only resource I used for the NBME Clinical Dx Exam, and I feel having a thorough understanding of the topics and explanations of the answer choices (read the explanations for ALL questions, even those you answer correctly) was sufficient preparation to earn a high score.

This was a great review for the physical diagnosis nbme! The book is easy to use. The questions are not hard to get through in two or three days, and in the explanations, key terms are in bold, which makes it easy to skim the information and focus on the things one does not know yet. Most importantly, the knowledge gained from doing all of the questions is sufficient to do well on the test. Several questions on the real test were almost exactly the same as the ones in this book.
